Fans of Classic Temple Run 2 have a lot to be happy about this week. The new expansion for the latest entry of the series has been released for both iOS and Android. Temple Run 2 Blazing Sands is here!


Endless running games are among the most ubiquitous and popular games in the Play Store. The gameplay lets players continuously “run” through the game until you die. If you are a fan of the original Temple Run, then you are in for a treat. Temple Run 2 delivers with better graphics and more challenging gameplay.

Temple Run 2 Blazing Sands sees you around a desert-like setting where you’ll be running through canyons, raging rapids, all the while trying to dodge vines that will impede your progress. You will be doing the usual running but there is a new demon monkey that you will be running from. There is also new artifacts that can be discovered, a new hat as a reward for collecting along with new obstacles in this new environment.

There's a bit of a storyline behind this new expansion as well. As the story goes, "Barry Bones and Karma Lee stumble upon a brilliant gold pyramid in the wastes of deserted canyons referred to in ancient manuscripts as Blazing Sands, a point of no return for all who dare to venture inside".
